Edit/Delete Functions on Comments planned
When checking an exercise for someone sometimes you make a mistake, being able to fix it would be nice and beneficial for the learner. Also, being able to edit and alter translations and tips would be helpful.

Add accented character buttons. started
When I am doing
the writing portion on Live Mocha, I always have
to look all over the place to get the accented
characters for Spanish, It would be nice to have
the buttons right there next to the box in witch
you type in. -

Add verb conjugator/grammar lessons
It would be very useful to add a feature that conjugates common verbs or gives the user brief grammar lessons for writing exercises. Many users on LiveMocha have very little exposure to the language and unless you've taken it in school before, the writing exercises are impossible!

A sound when the chatbox pups up planned
If someone wants to chat with me then I do not hear a signal.
I have to hear it when someone is sending a chat invite. The chat box pops up, but if you're busy with something else you can not see it.
I hope you understand my English.Rizze

Make the magnet exercise less cumbersome started
The magnet excersie is my least liked feature of livemocha and is difficult to use and frustration. If it were possible to make it easier to use or replace it.

lessons transferable to Ipod planned
So we can study wherever we are.
The writing and speaking would still have to be done from home. -

add "less commented" to tutor listing (section "share")
When we use the actual "Newest" and "Most commented" orders, we are not able to correct exercises low commented that were made not so long ago. With te "Less commented" option, we tutors can give equal attention to all.

Inbox folders
A folder that sends exercise review requests to a particular folder. A way to make the exercises as commented on or not, also a specification as to whether or not the exercise is text or audio.
My inbox is full of exercise requests I want to cut them down, please!

a Wikipedia-like solution for users to create lessons
The lessons by themselves are not sufficient if one wants to learn a language using only Livemocha.
We need to have an addition to each lesson, that would allow users to create a lesson summing up the content of the course. For instance:
-vocabulary
-tenses
-grammar
etc.As I am learning Hindi, I can tell that learning the devanagari alphabet is crucial. Yet nowhere on Livemocha can we find a tutorial.
Users could modify the contents freely or under certain restraints (knowledge of the language, user's points, elections through votes by other members...)
I think that would be a HUGE addition to LiveMocha.
Long life!!

Add foreign alphabet toggle to all sections, not just Learn started
For Hindi, for instance, "Learn" has the option to switch to Hindi characters. The other exercises should have this option, too! If I wish to Learn the foreign alphabet, it's not a good idea to go back to English transliteration for all the rest of the exercises. This goes for Chinese and Japanese too, I guess.

allow copying of partial text in chat window
In the chat window you can only copy the whole conversation. Many times I just want to copy one line of the conversation (like the last line or the last 2-3 lines). It would be nice to be able just to copy what I want instead of the whole conversation.

Don't count a user's comment on his/her own submission under review
I get a lot of Review Submission Requests every day so I prioritise those coming from users who have Top Commenter awards because it tells me that they, too, are willing to help others. The thing is, Livemocha also counts a user's comment on his/her own submission. In that way, the Top Commenter awards become unreliable as a gauge of the willingness of a fellow user to tutor others.

have more exercises available at end of courses under review
Have writing and speaking exercises available for people who have finished all the available courses in a language -- ones that aren't just doing over again the exercises in the courses. Something to keep working on beyond the end of 202.

Restore/repair the ability to use html in all text boxes under review
Please allow the input of html tags into all personal profile input boxes, and restore this ability (You just removed it three days ago! Why?) to the "Brief intro" text box. (And without involuntaryily added breaks in the text.) I like to be able to customize my profile and add links to web pages.

Add Chinese Character recognition to Chinese lessons planned
We need some Chinese Character recognition before the conversation exercises which are in Chinese Characters in the Chinese lessons. Manual translation to pinyin is a very slow method.

Vocabulary building game.
This would be similar to the google image tagging game where two anonymous people are teamed up from a queue to identify images. Except for livemocha, the images would already be identified and the people would be competing to see who could give the correct name for the object in the language they are learning first.
Regardless of who gets the point, they'll both see the correct answer afterwards before the display of the next object.
You could pair people up who have similar mocha ratings within the language they're learning. This would be a fun way to do community based vocabulary building outside of things like basic flash cards and would promote quicker memory retrieval of vocab for objects.
You could use a voting system to get all the images you needed added and identified if you wanted it to be a community effort. This would help prevent fraud or abuse.
For a similar example see: http://images.google.com/imagelabeler/
